At Yoga Playgrounds, we’re on a mission to empower kids to develop the knowledge and skills necessary to thrive in an evolving world, and to live their best lives. Our Team of Teachers are most critical to our mission, and we’re dedicated to building a collaborative culture of talented, enthusiastic, and diverse individuals who will continuously strive to improve the programs we deliver daily in schools and to students.

We are actively seeking individuals who are interested in teaching yoga to kids on site at schools throughout Portland, OR and the surrounding cities. Classes take place during and after the school day.

Minimum Qualifications

Yoga certification and teaching experience are preferred, but we will train you. The most important requirement is that you love working with children. We would love to hear from teachers who:

Are reliable and can show up for class on time
Are able to work independently with children
Can adapt to the quickly changing moods of children
Can commit to teaching for the entire school year
Can act as a positive role model for kids
Love to have fun while teaching!

Applicants must be able to pass a background check, and have a car to be able to travel to schools. We will provide yoga mats.
